Freida Jane Wilson, 91, of Southaven, MS passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016 at North Delta Hospice Residence in Southaven. Mrs. Wilson was born in Memphis and a 1943 graduate of Whitehaven High School. She was member of Bethel Baptist Church for over 50 years. Her husband, Jerry Wilson who always called her "Handsome" preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janice Butler, grandson, Steve Butler; her father, George T. Flynn; mother, Elsie Mae Flynn Ammons and step-father, Marshall Ammons. Freida leaves her daughter, Beverly Early (Earl) of Southaven; two sons: Danny Wilson of Southaven and Jerry Wayne Wilson (Judy) of Hernando, 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, November 17 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
