Gabriel Arcángel Castiblanco, 70, was born on August 9th, 1954, in Maracaibo, Venezuela. On April 11th, 2025, he received heaven's call to the beautiful promised land, surrounded by his loving family, in Memphis, TN, USA.

Gabriel was a devoted husband to Marleny for 43 years, a loving father, a caring grandfather, an uncle, and a friend. He was a pillar of strength and endless support for his family. He was known for his charisma and positive spirit. He welcomed and took in everyone at his home who needed a place to stay and made them feel a part of his family.

Just a few of his many accomplishments included Frito Mania Castiblanco, AmericaRadio.net, author of "En La Tierra del Tío Sam" and "Aprendiendo Juntos," RitmoSon, Festival de Los Tamales, and his authentic Venezuelan ham-bread (Pan de Jamón).

Gabriel enjoyed family gatherings, dancing, playing Dominoes, writing, cycling, the beach, socializing, and making friends.

He is survived by his loving wife, Marleny, his children María Carolina, María Angélica, and María Gabriela; Grandchildren, Gabriel Barthalow, Kyle Barthalow, Noah Yamandag, Melany Phann, Laylah Phann, Jaylan Phann; and Grandpets, Maximiliano, Luna Alexandra, Petey Alexander. Sons-in-law, Jeremy Barthalow, Franklin Gauna, Vibol Phann, Gorkem Yamandag.
