Gail Suzette Rasmussen, 64, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2025. She was born in Memphis, TN, on September 20, 1960, to parents James and Mary Carpenter. After graduating high school, she attended college, and then began working through the Registered Nurse program at Baptist Hospital. Suzette began her working career as a nurse in the medical field and worked at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital until she retired. Suzette married Bill Rasmussen on October 30, 2000 and they stayed married for many years until his passing. Suzette loved to play cards with the residence at the Robinwood Retirement facility. They would all laugh and have a great time whenever they would play. Suzette is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bill Rasmussen, as well as her brother Chris. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children: Aaron and Matt Smith, Brandon, Mallory, Ian, and Ellis Rasmussen, her 9 grandchildren: Colby, Mazie, Eva, Belle, and Morgan Smith, Sawyer, Robert, Finley Rasmussen and a little bundle of joy that will be born soon, as well as her brother Mark Carpenter. Suzette will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss her more than words can express.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
