Gary Wayne Littlejohn born November 2, 1946 in Wynne, Arkansas passed
away February 3, 2017 in Memphis, TN. He was preceeded in death by his
wife of 30 years, Brenda Kaye Smith Littlejohn, father, Raymond, M.
Littlejohn and brother, Billy R. Littlejohn. He is survived by four his
children, Jeffery Littlejohn, Stacey Gay, Amy Herbison and Jeremy
Littlejohn and his 7 grandchildren and one great grandson. Also, his
mother, Sue Littlejohn, sister, Wanda Talley, cousin, Linda Moncrief and
loyal friend, Billie Jean Norris. Gary served six years as a reservist in the
United States Marine Corp.
He worked 16 years in a supervisory role in the John Morrell company and
23 years as a custodial supervisor with Memphis City Schools and retired in
2009. Gary was loved and appreciated by family and friends for his sense of
humor, loyalty and generosity. Funeral will be at Forest Hill East Funeral
Home on Tuesday morning, February 7. Visitation at 9:00 and service at
10:00.
