Gary Owen Proctor, 88, of Lebanon, TN, passed away on January 9, 2021.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Hope Hall Proctor, his brother Chester (Ron) Proctor of Flint, MI, his sons Owen (Susan) Proctor of Parsippany, NJ, and Scot (Christy) Proctor of Mt. Juliet, TN, and his grandchildren Mark, Cara and Brandon.

He is predeceased by his parents Lewis and Lamon (Butler) Proctor, and his siblings Bernice Proctor, Ernestine Baldwin, Lewis Proctor, Dorothy Hill and Chlora Avery.

The Caruthersville (MO) High School graduate served in the U.S Army and attended Memphis State College. He was a Memphis area letter carrier for 30 years before his retirement from the U.S. Postal Service.

He was a former member of Frayser Heights United Methodist Church and Advent Presbyterian Church, both in Memphis.

He loved the Memphis Tigers, Tennessee Titans, and spending time with his family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
