Gary Donald Reed, 81, of Memphis, Tn. passed away Oct. 22, 2017 surrounded by his family at Methodist University Hospital after a long illness. Mr. Reed was born in Trezevant, TN. on April 3, 1936 to Hilliard and Thelma Reed. He was a 1955 graduate of Trezevant High School.
Gary was a 6 yr. veteran of the Army National Guard. He was a former employee of International Harvester of Memphis and was a truck driver for various companies for over 25 years.

Preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife (Annette Montgomery Reed) of more than 57 years of marriage. He is survived by his son Nick (Teresa)Reed of Hickory Withe, TN; daughter Dixie (Mike) Whitby of Granbury, TX; son Chad (Julie) Reed of Arlington, TN; his grandchildren, Morgan, Lauren, Jackson, Brayden and Gavin; his sister, Donna Marshall and his niece and nephew.

A private celebration of his life will be held by the family.
