Gary Thomas Starnes, 63, of Memphis, TN passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, April 9, 2017. Mr. Starnes was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Lee Starnes; mother, Helen McKee Starnes; and sisters: Patsy Gail Smoley and Brenda Elaine Starnes. He is survived by his brothers: Vernon Darryl Starnes(Joyce), Nathan Alton Starnes, and Terry Paul Starnes. He is a former employee of Firestone and later retired from Kellogg''s. His hobbies included listening to music and watching sports, especially football and baseball. A visitation will be held Friday, April 14, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. All services and interment will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East on Whitten Road.
