Gene W. McKee, 59, of Southaven, MS died Thursday, October 2, 2014. He was an employee of Thompson Power, a die hard racing fan and traveled every state but Alaska. Mr. McKee is survived by his daughter, Shellie Daniels (Josh) of Kadena Air Base, Okinawa, Japan; son, Cory McKee of Horn Lake, MS; mother, Brigitte McKee of Olive Branch, MS; sister, Renee Tanner (Sammie) of Bartlett, TN; brother, Alan McKee (Bettie) of Memphis, TN and two grandchildren, Cody and Leah Daniels. Visitation will be 3-5 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2014 at Forest Hill South Funeral Home. Services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, October 6, 2014 at the funeral home with interment to follow. The family requests any memorials be sent to the Regional One Medical Center Burn Center.
