Major Geoffrey Norman Weaver, 36, died February 8, 2014 from a heart attack in Roswell, NM, where he was residing. Born in Memphis, TN, on June 21, 1977, Geoff was immensely devoted to and survived by his family: Mother, Gale Martz, Cordova, TN; Step-mother, Cathy Weaver, Memphis, TN; Sister, Stephanie McCord (Al) and their children Braxton and Skylar, Sun Valley, ID; Sister, Beth Ann Hinckely (Rob), Malibu, CA. He was also loved by his extended family and friends. Geoff was extremely creative as a writer and artist. He enjoyed playing guitar, singing, writing songs and screenplays. He loved being with his family/friends and will always be remembered by his contagious smile and hearty laugh. He is preceded in death by his father, Gary Norman Weaver as well as his grandparents, Elizabeth and E.J. Turpen, Sr. Services will be Saturday, February 15th at Forest Hill Funeral Home, 2440 Whitten Rd. Visitation from 12-2 p.m., Service at 2 p.m. with graveside services immediately following at Forest Hill on Holmes Rd.
