George W. Bolton, Jr., 88, of Memphis passed away on Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Methodist Hospice Residence. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March, 15 at Forest Hill East with visitation from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill East Cemetery. Mr. Bolton was a U.S. Navy Veteran, serving during WWII and the Korean War. He also was a Shriner and a member of Al Chymia where he served on the hospital transportation staff in transporting children to the burn centers in Houston and St. Louis. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church and a past member of Highland Heights Baptist Church. During his career he worked many years in Automobile sales and retired from Smith and Nephew. He is preceded in death by his wives, Barbara and Dorothy Bolton and a brother, Dr. Leon L. Bolton. He leaves his wife, Martha McCleskey Bolton, two daughters: Karen Hill and Debra Teague; 3 grandchildren: Michelle Hunter, Christopher and Blake Teague; also a great-granddaughter, Lauren Hunter. The family requests memorials be sent to: The Shrine Burn Center or charity of the donor''s choice.
