Horn Lake - GEORGE R. HARRISON, 89, passed away Friday morning April 12, 2013 at Baptist Memorial Hospital DeSoto in Southaven, MS. Mr. Harrison was a Air Force Veteran and a member of the V.F.W. in Whitehaven, Memphis, TN. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Labora Ciaramitaro Harrison of Horn Lake; one son, George R. Harrison Jr. (Paula) of Horn Lake; one daughter, Dorothy M. Clark (Mike) of Southaven; one brother, Roy Hammond and one sister, Bobbie Jean Rogers both of Laurel, MS; three grandchildren, Angela Renee Savage, Michael Brian Clark, and Courtney Leigh Young; and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday April 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. with services being held Monday, April 15 at 10 a.m. with burial to follow. All services will be held at Forest Hill South on Holmes Rd., Memphis, TN. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of the donors choice.
