George Raymond "Red" Carter, 84, was born in Poccasette, OK on January 18, 1932, and passed away in Collierville, TN on June 17, 2016. George is survived by his loving wife of over 25 years, Annie Mae; daughters, Brenda Wilson (Andy) and Teresa Johnson (Bobby); son, Joe Savage; grandchildren, Kali (Jack), Kelsi (Ragan), Kendyl (Blaine), Blake (Leah), Bobby Jr. (Andrea), Michelle (Desmond) and Jody (Brandy); great grandchildren, Charlie Elizabeth, Elijah Andrew, Erin, Rory, Jason and Jackson. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 10-11am with funeral services to immediately follow at 11:00 AM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home, East 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133.
