George Edward Williams, 82, of Bartlett, TN passed away holding his son''s hand, Wednesday, February 13, 2013. He was retired from LeBonheur East Children''s Hospital and was a U.S. Army veteran. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his wife Shirley A. Williams and is survived by his sons, Larry, of Memphis, TN and Gary of Bartlett, TN; grandchildren, Justin, Blake and Preston; sisters, Virginia Bobbitt of Macon, TN and Wilma Smith of Collierville, TN and daughter-in-law, Donna. He was preceded in death by his parents, George H. and Annie Mae Williams and sons, Joseph Williams and Edward Williams, Jr. and brothers, Wesley and Tommy. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2013 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday at the funeral home with interment to follow.
