George Robert Winberry, 81, passed away Friday, October, 14, 2022 in Memphis, TN. He leaves behind his wife, Janis Winberry; one daughter, Deanna Little (Brian); one son, Glen Winberry; three grandchildren, Taylor Little, Lauryn Young (Jayden), Jessica Winberry (Casey); and one great grandchild, Chase. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Rachel Winberry.

George served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Forrestal.  He was a historical buff and classic car guy. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, working on cars, gardening along side his wife, reading, watching documentaries and had a fascination with all aircraft carriers.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at 10:00a.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery 4000 Forest Hill Irene Rd., Memphis, TN 38125.
