GEORGIA LEE McBROOM, passed into the loving arms of the Living God, Sunday morning, August 4, 2013. Born June 3, 1927, she is now reunited with friends and family who preceded her, including her beloved husband of over 50 years, Herbert Marvin McBroom, son, Steven Keith McBroom, daughter, Patricia Virginia Waycaster and parents, Verna Spears Clark and George C. Clark. Left to mourn her passing are her son, Herbert Lee "Butch" McBroom and wife, Cheryl Diane (Robbins); sisters, Helen, Joann and Linda, and brother, R. L.; four grandsons, and seven great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed but leaves this world a better place and to a better place. Thank you so much, Mother! I love you so much! Services will be Friday, August 9 at Cherokee Baptist Church, 5340 Quince, Memphis, TN. Visitation will be 8-9 a.m., with services starting at 9 a.m. Burial will be 11 a.m. in the West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest-Hill Irene Rd.
