Gerald Freeman Gaston was born in McCrory, AR on January 5, 1942 to John Thomas and Martha Marie Gaston who preceded him in death. Gerald was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Gerald was preceded in death by a son, Jerry Gaston. He leaves behind his loving wife of over 43 years, Jo Ann Smith Gaston; daughter, Beverly Sigler and her husband Tommy; son, John Gaston; grandchildren, Brandon, Derek, Leslee, Skye, Tyler and Kyle; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Vickie Peppers. A visitation will be held on Saturday morning, October 1, 2016 from 9-10 AM with funeral services to immediately follow at 10:00 AM, all at Forest Hill Funeral Home East, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN 38133. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Gerald's name to the American Diabetes Association at www.diabetes.org
