GERALD "Jerry" WILSON LOONEY, left this earthly world and joined his Heavenly Father and his beloved wife Sue in Heaven on the 28th day of September in 2015. Gerald served in the US Navy aboard the USS Buck and the USS Carpenter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frazier and Lillian Looney, and his sisters, Marie Stacks, Stella Riley, Maxine English, and Jodi Tice, and brother George Looney. He is survived by caretaker son, Kevin and wife Sharon Looney and grandson Steven Looney of Southaven, MS. He is also survived by his son Marcus (Leighann) of Hernando, MS, his brother Les Looney of Gulfport, MS and sister Beverly Turman of Memphis, TN. He leaves 4 more grandchildren, Amanda Baskin (Tyler) of Frisco, TX, Hannah Bernhardt of Southaven, MS, Ashton and Kyler Looney of Arlington, TN and one great-grandchild, Jackson Basking of Frisco, TX. He also leaves his 3 pets, Star, Molly, and Skye. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. Thursday, October 1 with a funeral service to follow at 10. All services and Interment will be held at Forest Hill, South on Holmes Road.
