Southaven - Geraldine Ruby Goff, 75, of Southaven, Mississippi, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 12, 2013. An angel on earth and for eternity in heaven, she was born May 20, 1937 in Lutts, Tennessee to the late Clark and Clura (Reaves) Hinton. A beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all, she was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Horn Lake and a dedicated employee of Seessels Grocery, Piggly Wiggly and Albertsons for a number of years. Geraldine, lovingly known as "Granny", is survived by her children, Patricia Becker of Marietta, GA, Deborah Landreth Copeland of Covington, TN and Larry Goff of Walls, MS; seven grandchildren, Laure Vansickle, Ashlee Landreth Drumel, Joshua Landreth, Amanda Holmes, Abby Goff, Lauren Byrd Phillips and Tucker Phillips; four great-grandchildren; and her brothers Waylon Hinton of Blytheville, AR, James Hinton of Broken Arrow, OK and Wayford Hinton of Tulsa, OK. Ms. Goff was preceded in death by her father, Clark Hinton; mother, Clura Hinton and a brother, Charles Hinton. The family will receive family and friends Sunday evening, January 13, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home - South located at 2545 E. Holmes Road, Memphis, TN 38118. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home South with a graveside service to follow.
