Geraldine E. Winstead, 87, of Waxahachie, TX died peacefully January 16, 2013. Mrs. Winstead, a native Memphian, was the widow of Norman N. Winstead. She leaves her son, L. W. "Barney" Barnhart (Connie) of Cordova; her daughter Jeri Jones (Daryl) of Ennis, TX; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She was retired from Sears & Roebuck and a life-long Baptist. Visitation will be held Monday, January 21 at Forest Hill-Midtown from 1 to 2 p.m. with graveside service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice .
