Gerry May Powell, 75, of Memphis, TN, died January 19, 2017. She was born on December 15, 1941 to Glenn Maxell and Laura Bernice Billingsley May in Memphis, Tennessee. Mrs. Powell retired form West Memphis Utility Company after many years. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Powell was preceded in death by her husband, James Perry Powell, III. She is survived by her son, James Perry Powell, IV; daughter, Laura D. Beggs; two granddaughters, Kayleigh Hill, Bethany Beggs; three great grandchildren, Haylei, Taylor and Korrine Tracey; niece, Lisa Goodman and cousins.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Forest Hill East Cemetery.
