Mr. Giles Edgar Riffey, 74 of Memphis and formerly of Bartlett passed away at his home after a lingering illness on December 5, 2017. Giles was born July 5, 1943 in Forest City, AR, the son of the late Forrest and Virginia Riffey. Giles was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired from Sharp Electronics. He is predeceased by sisters: Camille Newman, Joane Archer, Larie Parsons. He is survived by: his son, Daniel (Stephanie), daughters; Sonja (Andrew) Drake, Sherry (Randy) Hoard, Monica (Paul) Linley, (10) grandchildren as well as a host of extended family and friends. A visitation and reception will be held from 6-8pm Friday, December 8, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park - East, 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38134. The committal service will be private in Forest City, AR at a later date.
