Girleane Jacqueline Young, 46, passed away Thursday, March 28, 2013. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Benny S. Young; two daughters: Shannon Young, Kanesha Young; three sons: Benny Scott Young, Jr. (Mae'Randa), Vincent Green, Durwin Young; her father, Walter L. Green; three sisters: LaJuana Robinson (Jeffrey), Delores Moore (Michael), Margaret Smith; six brothers: Rozelle Green, Christopher Green, Jerome Green, Jarvis Green, Darryl Davis, James Davis; and four grandchildren. She was a member of New Mount Olive Baptist Church, 855 Porter St., where her family will receive friends at 9-11 am Saturday prior to a celebration of her life at 11 am, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery-Midtown.
