Gladys Louise Carpenter, 91, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017. She was the widow of Thurman Carpenter, who passed away in March, 2017 after 68 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughter, Sheila Casey, of Bartlett; 3 grandchildren, Joshua Casey, Zachary Casey, Whitney Murphy (Andrew, Jr.); 4 grandchildren, Trenton Casey, Isibealla Casey, Tegaen Murphy and Andrew Murphy, III. Gladys was a member of the Bartlett Baptist Church and was a crossing guard for the Bartlett Police Dept for 16 years. Funeral services will be at 10 am, Tuesday, July 25th, at Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park-East.
