Gladys S. Hancock, 82, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015. Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday, January 11 at Forest Hill South with visitation starting at 1p.m. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery. Mrs. Hancock retired after 16 years from Comtrak Logistics in Memphis. She was a member of Broadway Baptist Church and a past member of Trinity Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, James Alfred Hancock and her brother John Edward Sellars. She leaves three daughters: Shirley Hampton (Troy), Nita Snider (Mark) and Rita Bishop; 4 grandchildren: Pamela, Melissa, Brandon and Katie; also 3 great-grandchildren: Dylan, Ayden, and Mason; also, two sisters: Janice Cannon and Martha France.
