Gladys Lee Pearce, of Olive Branch, went to join our loving Savior on Saturday Evening. Gladys was born June 25, 1925 in Memphis, TN to Gladys and Clarence Bradick. Gladys is proceeded in death by her parents, her cherished sister Margaret and her beloved husband Joseph. Gladys is survived by her devoted sons and their wives, Joe and Jill Pearce of Olive Branch and Raymond and Carron Pearce of Bradenton, FL.  Gladys leaves behind four grandchildren whom she adored: Brain Welch of Bosman MT, Wesley Pearce of Oklahoma City, Joshua Pearce of Oklahoma City and Jordan Pearce Slowik of Winter Park, FL. She leaves behind 7 great-grandchildren who with cherish her memory for years to come. In her 93 years, Gladys had many accomplishments. When her husband was sent to Hawaii during WWII, she worked for the Rail Road as a book keeper. She was an exceptionally hard worker! She then went to beauty school and thoroughly enjoyed making women feel beautiful. Gladys always looked her very best! There wasn't a day that passed that her hair and makeup weren't perfectly done. She was the definition of a true beauty! Gladys had a captivating and radiant personality. She had a multitude of friends that she cared deeply about. She was a devout Christian and an advocate for life. She helped coordinate many pro-life rallies and marches all through the great state of Tennessee in which she was extremely proud. Gladys passionately served Jesus Christ through her church, Gracewood Baptist. Gladys had a lovely voice and blessed the church with her singing for many years. Gladys' favorite bible verse comes from the book of Matthew, the verse reads " Come to me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). Death is not to be feared, but rather gracefully welcomed. As Christians, our hope and peace rests in Jesus Christ. Gladys' family has no doubt that she is singing, laughing and dancing with her loved ones in Heaven. Gladys was a remarkable daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Gladys' memory will be preserved by the beautiful legacy she created; she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.
