Gladys Irene Fillinger, 98, of Memphis, TN, went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2016. She was a telephone operator, a cook on a Riverboat and drove a Yellow Cab. Mrs. Fillinger was also a member of Bellevue Baptist Church. She was devoted to her children as they were growing up and was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Fillinger was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Overton Fillinger; and her parents, Homer and Gladys Young. She is survived by four children, Nancy Diane Primm, Danny Ray Fillinger and his wife, Teresa, Karen White and her husband, Ralph, and Marcus David Ferrell; thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Saturday, November 26 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following.
