Glenda Faye Watkins, 82, of Walls Mississippi went home to be with the Lord on the 24th day of September 2024.

She lived a beautiful life in both Hayti Missouri, in her younger years, and in Mississippi.

Glenda was preceded in death by her mother, Cora Hogan Shires, father Paul Shires, son Jerry Paul Watkins, grandson Joseph Allen Watkins, brothers, Robert Shires and Richard Shires.

Glenda was survived beside her loving husband, Jerry Watkins, son John Watkins, and his wife Pamela Watkins, daughter in law Kay Watkins, sister Fay Fillingim, granddaughter Stephanie Harris, her husband Korey Harris, and 2 children, granddaughter Crystal Chipman, her husband Dustin Chipman, and 2 children, grandson Jeremy Watkins, his wife Carley Watkins and 2 children, grandson Shane Watkins and 5 children.

Glenda was a devout mother, loving wife and matriarch to her whole family. She will be missed dearly by those who have had the privilege to witness her in this life.
