Glenn Carrol Hardin, 83, of Lakeland, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday evening, January 11, 2023.
Glenn was born May 14,1939 in Nettleton, Arkansas to the late Lunie and Lillian Hardin.
Glenn was a member of Christ Church of Bartlett, he previously had served as an elder and deacon in his former church. For over forty years, Glenn was self-employed. He was an individual that embraced many hobbies. One never saw him idle, unless it was nap time. Glenn tended to his garden and bees, not only as a pastime for himself but for others. It was a means for sharing his wealth with anyone who would accept his bounty. He never met a stranger. Glenn helped everyone in any capacity that he was able to provide.
Services will begin at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Christ Church Bartlett.
The family will receive visitors from 12 -2 Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Christ Church Barlett, 5955 Yale Rd, Bartlett, TN.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Lois Hardin of Lakeland,TN; one brother, Gaylon Hardin(BettyAnn) of Dyer, TN; two sons, Terry Hardin(Jackie) of Atoka, TN and Tim Hardin(Kimberly) of Germantown,TN; three granddaughters, Meredith Wilson (BJ) of Dyersburg, Megan Garrigus of Dyersburg, Lauren Sanner(Patrick) of Horn Lake, MS; and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Glenda Taylor.
Honoring Glenn as pallbearers will be Chris Ellison, Justin Sowell, Jim Cole, David Hill, Chase Avery, and Deveruax Jones.
