Goldie Ann Crunk went to her heavenly home on the morning of August 22, 2022. She was born January 12, 1957 in Memphis, TN to Benjamin and Florence Spencer. She was the eldest of 10 children. She attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School through 8th grade and graduated from Treadwell High School in 1975. She married her high school sweetheart, John M. Crunk on August 1, 1987.
Goldie lived her life in Memphis, working many years for Schering-Plough (now Merck & Co.). Always a cat lover, she took care of strays in her neighborhood, adopting many over the years. She loved spending time outdoors around her city, hiking at Shelby Forest, taking in the beautiful river views and enjoying nature all around. She was a smart and savvy shopper who loved to save with coupons, rebates and loyalty programs. She made sure she shared her wealth of knowledge with those she loved to help them save as well . Above all, she loved her Lord and faithfully attended St. Michael Catholic Church when her health permitted.
Goldie is survived by her husband, John M. Crunk, siblings: Benjamin Jr. (Cheryl) Spencer, Cecilia DeCaro, Phillip Spencer, Kenneth Spencer, Debbie (Mike) Graves, Laura (Jake) Logue, Teresa (Clint) Norwood, Amy (Mark) Huddleston as well as 8 nephews, 7 nieces, 2 great nephews and 5 great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her father, Benjamin Spencer Sr.,mother, Florence Spencer, Sister Elizabeth Spencer, and nephews Isaac Logue and Spenser Norwood
