Goldie Janice Baker, age 89, was born April 26, 1935 and passed away March 19, 2025. Nanny was a beloved member of the Midtown community for 60+ years. She enjoyed raising her family . She was of Christian faith and devoted to a lifetime of servitude to others. She loved children and volunteered with breakfast at Peabody Elementary. Her loving hands have prepared meals for many, including volunteering to feed the homeless. Nanny was a Proverbs 31 lady and will be greatly missed. She leaves behind 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Jessie Leach, and her children Mike Baker and Beth Roberts.
