Grace Bernice Jackson Franks, 80, of Memphis, TN went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Baptist Hospital, Memphis. Mrs. Franks was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She attended First Assembly of God Church in Memphis. Grace loved to bowl and was a member of "Just Us" bowling league. She was preceded in death by her parents: Cecil O. and Margaret Elizabeth Jackson; three siblings: Gladys Patrick, Alyce Martin and Sterling O. "Joe" Jackson. Grace leaves her husband, Bobby Eugene Franks, Sr.; four children: Diane Kelso of Oakland, TN, Bobby E. Franks, Jr., of Memphis, Sandra Karpinski of Brighton, TN and Stephen Garland Franks also of Memphis; eight grandchildren: Chasity Mallett, Jacob Austin, Timothy and David Reece, Tyler, Nick, Stephen Brett and Lukas Franks; two step-grandchildren Don Graham and Kyle Karpinski; three great-grandchildren: Trace Pate, Noah and Riley Austin and one step-great-granddaughter Paetyn Karpinski. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Forest Hill South Cemetery.
