Gralyne "Grady" Brawner, 91, passed away at his home in Bartlett, TN, surrounded by his family.  He was born on June 12, 1926 in Gleason, TN, to the late Grade and Eva Brawner.  After a distinguished career serving in the U.S. Army, he joined the Memphis Fire Department, where he retired as a Captain.  He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 49 years, Neva Brawner; two daughters, Janet McDaniel, and Nancy Chappell; three sons, Gary Brawner, Larry Brawner, and Scott Brawner; eleven grandchildren; and eighteen great-grandchildren.  Visitation for Mr. Brawner will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, May 15, 2018.  His graveside service will be held at 10:00 Wednesday, May 16, 2018.  All services have been entrusted to the care of Forest Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Park, East Chapel, 2440 Whitten Road, Memphis, TN, 38133.
