Granville Harding Miller, 97, of Bartlett TN, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018.  He was born October 13, 1920 to Granville Luther Miller and Carrie Crouch Miller of Ashland, MS.  He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.  He retired from Dean Foods.

Granville was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mamie Florene Miller; granddaughter, Jennifer Miller; great-grandson, John Vaughn; five sisters and three brothers.  He leaves four children:  Granville Harvey Miller of Ashland, MS, Bettye Miller Pettit (Chuck) of Bartlett, TN, Lloyd Micheal Miller (Led) of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Catherine Miller McLaury (Dave) of Round Rock, TX.  He is also survived by his sisters, Patsy Mills of Southaven, MS, Vera Clark of Bartlett, TN, and brother, Bob Miller of Ashland, MS.  Granville was blessed with thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and seven great-great grandchildren.

Forest Hill Funeral Home to provide services on October 9, 2018 at Colonial Baptist Church, Memphis, TN, where Granville was a charter member.  Visitation 1:00 pm, service 2:00 pm, with burial at Forest Hill South Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers – Colonial Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
