Granville Wesley Turner, 86, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Memphis, TN. He leaves behind his wife, Nancy Turner; one son, Mike Turner (Denise); five grandchildren, Katelyn Turner, Alec Turner, Erin English (Josh), Michael Turner Jr., Nathan Turner (Lindsey); three great grandchildren, Jacob Turner, Cooper Turner and Jasper Turner. He is preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dora Turner; one son, Anthony Turner; five sisters; and two brothers.

Wes was a longtime member and Deacon of Gracepoint Baptist Church. He retired from Carlstadt Wholesale Florist. In his free time he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, doing yard work and tending to his garden where he grew enough tomatoes every summer for the whole neighborhood. Wes was a very gifted carpenter and woodworker and could build anything he put his mind to.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 21, 2022 at Forest Hill East Mausoleum from 1:00p.m.-2:00p.m. with funeral services starting at 2:00p.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Hill East Cemetery 2440 Whitten Rd., Memphis, TN 38133.
