Griffin Barrentine, 94, formerly of Memphis, TN, died Sunday, April 23, 2017 in Cabot, AR. Mr. Barrentine served in the Army during World War II, and retired from TVA as a route salesman. He also was a longtime member of Berclair Baptist Church, where he served on the Board of Deacons for 60 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Mary Barrentine; and by his 3 sons, William Hall, Frank Hall and Bobby Hall.

Visitation for Mr. Barrentine will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, Midtown Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, with interment following in Forest Hill Cemetery, Midtown.
