2018. Howard Burch, 86, of Horn Lake, MS passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018.

Mr. Burch was an Air Force Veteran serving in the Korean War and retired from IC Railroad. He enjoyed gardening, fishing and playing fast pitch soft ball. In 2017 he was inducted into the Memphis Amateur Sports Hall of Fame. His parents, William Homer and Vernice Inez Burch preceded him in death, also two brothers: Carl Burch and Roland Burch. Howard leaves his wife of 60 years, Mary Jane "Janie" Burch; his daughter, Ramona Gail Mize and son, Gregory H. Burch (Becky) all of Horn Lake; 6 grandchildren: Erica Rouse, Jessica Burch, Jeremy Mize, April Burks, Christina Mendoza and Rhonda Warren; 13 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Roy Edward Burch (Trudy), Calvin Burch (Linda) and one sister, Mary Kinney. Visitation will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. on Monday, March 26 at Forest Hill South with service immediately following. Burial will be in Hinds Chapel Cemetery in Lake Cormorant, MS.
