Harley "Nolan" Gable Jr., 81 of Ocklawaha, Florida passed away on Monday, April 21, 2025 at HCA Hospital in Ocala, Florida . Nolan was born in Memphis, TN to Ellen Rose Martin Gable and Harley Nolan Gable Sr. on October 27, 1943. He attended Humes High School where he graduated as well. After graduating, he joined the United State Army where he served his country proudly. He worked as a night freight yardman for Illinois Central Railroad for 30 plus years. He enjoyed the outdoors, estate and yard sales, the flea market, especially with his late wife Connie. What he loved the most was reading and long walks with friends and family. Harley "Nolan" Gable is survived by his sister Carolyn R. Inman of Casselberry, FL., as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Constance E. "Connie" Gable, his parents Ellen and Harley Gable, a son Fred Wesley Gable, a daughter Martha Jeane Gable, as well as a brother Thomas Ernest (Tommy) Gable and a sister Patricia Anne Booth. Nolan will forever be in our hearts, and we will miss him more than words can express.
