Southaven - HAROLD W. BRANWELL, formerly of Kearny, New Jersey, born March 16, 1917, passed away on January 27, 2013. Harold worked at Dupont for 16 years, Finest Foods and retired from FedEx in 1983. He was a member of Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven and served in the Army Air Corps during WWII. Harold was predeceased by his parents, Sidney Branwell and Mary Burns; his brother, Wilbur Branwell; sister, Ethel Elmer; and son-in-law, Cliff Charnes. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Helen Isabell Branwell; devoted daughter and caretaker, Jackie Charnes of Southaven, and son, Wilbert Branwell (Barbara) of Kearny, NJ. He also leaves behind six adoring grandchildren, Larry Charles (Jeanne), Dorothy Dees (Dennis), Steven Charnes (Holly), Diane Coleman, John Branwell and Debbie Jackson (Dennis). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Tyler, Adam, Christopher, Alan, Bailey, Makayla, Olivia, Connor, Natalie, Sydney and Beau. Memorials may be made to Carriage Hills Baptist Church. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 30 from 1-2 p.m. Service will be 2 p.m., Wednesday at the Carriage Hills Baptist Church in Southaven, MS. Burial to follow in Forest Hill Cemetery South on Holmes Rd.
