Obituary

Harold "Moe" Dean Hansen, 71, passed away on January 28, 2018 in Clearwater, FL.  Mr. Hansen was a member of the Al Chymia Shrine Temple and he was a Mason.  He was retired from the United States Navy and later retired from Federal Express in Memphis.  Formerly of Nesbit, MS. he and his wife Merline were residing in Largo, FL to be near their children.  Mr. Hansen is survived by his loving wife, Merline, his son Michael (Jennifer) Riley of Corpus Christi, TX, a daughter Lisa Graham of Clearwater, FL., a brother Don Hansen of Garland,TX, and 3 sisters, Darlene (Jim) Knauss of Hammond, NY., Cherri Gertis of Warsaw, NY., and Melissa Majek of Rockport, TX. He has been blessed with 2 grandchildren, Matthew Graham and Brennan Riley. Mr. Hansen was preceded in death by his father Harold C. Hansen and mother Betty Majek, one brother in law, Leonard Gertis and nephew Hunter Gertis. Visitation with family will be on Monday, February 5, 2018 from 12:30-2:00 p.m. with his service following at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home, South.  Internment will be on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at 10:45 a.m. at West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene Road with full military honors.  In lieu of flowers the family request any donations be sent to Alzheimer's Association.
