Harold C. King, 92, of Bartlett, WWII Army veteran, serving in the 99th Division, of the 924th Field Artillery and retired from Humko, died on Tuesday, November 5, 2013. He leaves his wife of 69 years, Margarette King; two daughters: Shirley Jackson (Jim) and Brenda Pilant (Doug); one son, Harold Brad King (Vicky) and a brother, Freddie King all of Bartlett; also, seven grand-children: Dr. Bryan Jackson, Gavin Pilant, Kevin Jackson, Landon Pilant, Jensen Pilant, Ashley King Williams and Nicole King Rollins and 13 great-grandchildren. Harold and Margarette are members of Broadmoor Baptist Church. Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, with service at 1 p.m. Friday, both at Broadmoor. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, East. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Broadmoor Baptist Church, Young "N" Heart.
