Harold Gene Smallwood, 86, of Bartlett, TN, passed away on June 11, 2016. He was an Army Veteran proudly serving during Korean War. Mr. Smallwood retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons and attended Bethel United Pentecostal Church in Bartlett. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Smallwood and a son, David Smallwood. He is survived by his step-daughter, Ann O''Shields of JoAnna, SC; step-son, Mike Stonecypher of Ft. Meyer, FL; daughter, Barbara (Martin) Neier of Bartlett, TN; sons Gary W. Smallwood and Patrick (Melody) Smallwood, both of Bartlett; sister, Helen Allen of Casey, IL, twin brother, Dean Smallwood of Dundus, IL numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; a daughter in law, Barbara Kiser of Rosedale, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 15 until service begins at 10 a.m. at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park, East with interment following. The family request memorials be sent to The Church Group.
