HAROLD DOUGLAS WILSON, 82, of Memphis, died October 11, 2012. He was born April 2, 1930 in Hickory Flat, MS. He graduated from Memphis State University with a Master''s in Secondary Education. He was employed by Memphis City Schools for 30 years. In addition, he served active and reserve duty with the U.S. Army for 35 years and retired an E8 Master Sergeant. Mr. Wilson was a member of Grace Evangelical Church in Collierville. He is survived by his wife, Martha, of 55 years, three sons, Steve Wilson (Sally), Stan Wilson (Brenda), and Scott Wilson (Jennifer). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, Josh, Andrew, Whitney, Jacob, Jordan, Crawford, Ella, and Harry Wilson, and one great-granddaughter, Hartley Wilson. He is also survived by four brothers and one sister. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Funeral visitation and services will be held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home 12 noon, October 15 with visitation from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and service to follow immediately. Private burial will be in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Forest Hill Irene Road.
