Harris F. Wallace, Jr., 91, of Bartlett, TN, and formerly of Columbus, MS, died July 12, 2014 in Memphis, TN. He was cremated, and a memorial may be held at a later date. He grew up in Raymond and Canton, MS. He was a graduate of Mississippi State College (now University) and was in the U.S. Marines in the Pacific in World War II. He worked for Columbus Packing Company and later at United Technologies in Columbus. Mr. Wallace, the husband of the late Patricia Gilchrist Wallace, leaves two sons, Harris F. Wallace, III, and M. Gilchrist Wallace, both of Bartlett, and two grandchildren.
