Harvey Dale Geeding, Sr. of Southaven, MS passed away at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo Sunday, February 12, 2017. Mr. Geeding was born in Missouri. He was a U.S, Air Force Veteran and he retired from Baptist Central Hospital where he worked in refrigeration and air-condition dept. as an engineer. His favorite pastime was working in his wood shop. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 25 years, Billie Ruth Geeding, and his wife of 20 years, Mary Austin Geeding; one daughter, Judy Sparks Tumblson; one son, Harvey D. Geeding, Jr.; one grandson, Jay Sampietro, one sister, Pauline Mann; three brothers: Richard and Oren Geeding and Lloyd Chandler. He leaves his Daughter, Rita Buse (Bob) of Tupelo; his son, Barry Scot Geeding (Laura) of Germantown, TN; six grandchildren: Kristin Buse, Kimberley Morrison (Jud), Kevin Buse (Dena), Alisa Melton ( Tony), Harvey Geeding III, and Preston Geeding; also 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10am to 12noon Tuesday, February 14 at Goodman Oaks Church of Christ 1700 Goodman Rd. Southaven, MS, with service immediately following. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery of Coldwater, MS.
