HARVEY L. SHELLEY, 91, born September 21, 1922, passed away at home on January 8, 2014. He retired from Layne & Bowler, was a U.S. Army veteran having served in World War II in the European Theater. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. until service at 2 p.m., Tuesday, January 14 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home. He was a member of Woodstock Baptist Church. He leaves his wife, Dola Nell Shelley; two daughters, Terri Shelley Elrod and Brenda Shelley (Bill) Powell; one son, Harold Shelley; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
