Hazel Lannom Mayberry

Hazel Lannom Mayberry was called to be with her Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2018.  Hazel, a native Memphian, was 88 years old.  She is survived by her loving children – a son, Charles Robert Mayberry, and daughters, Rebecca Templeton (Gary), and Linda Greer (Charles).  She is also survived by three grandsons and one great-grandson, and known as Nanny to twelve nieces and nephews, fourteen great-nieces and nephews, eighteen great-great-nieces and nephews.

Hazel was an active King's Daughter for many years and a dedicated volunteer to the residents and staff at the King's Daughters and Sons Home for over 50 years.  The Home was her passion and life's work.  She also loved her iris garden at her home, and was a member of Tennessee Iris Society for many years.  Hazel planted an iris garden at the entrance to the new KDSH in Bartlett for all to enjoy.

She is now free to fly with her beloved, colorful cardinals.

Visitation Services:  Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Funeral Services: Wednesday, October 3, 2018, 10:00 a.m.
Burial Services: Memphis Memory Gardens, 6444 Raleigh Legrange Road
