Hazel McCord McKeown, 86, born in Denmark, MS, went to be with the Lord on September 10, 2013 at her home, surrounded by her loved ones. She retired from Union Planters Bank and was an active member of Calvary Baptist Church in Bartlett. Mrs. McKeown was also an avid bowler with the Seniors at Bartlett Lanes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. McKeown and her daughter, Joi Guthrie. Mrs. McKeown is survived by her daughters, Katie (James) Roberts, Genia (Mickey) Patton, all of Bartlett; son, Robert (Brenda) McKeown of Memphis; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 8 great- great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to express a special thank you to Judy Watson who was a wonderful caregiver and family friend to Mrs. McKeown. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, September 13 and service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, September 14 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
