Hazel Lorene Ballinger Pruette, 101, of Memphis, TN, passed away on June 9, 2014. She was raised in Maury City, TN and was a member of Balmoral Baptist Church in Memphis. Mrs. Pruette was preceded in death by her parents, Colonel and Ollie Ballinger and her husband, Bennie Leon Pruette and her seven siblings. She is survived by her children, Glynda Sue Pruette Tummillo of Callawassi Island, SC, Larry Lon Pruette of Olive Branch, MS, Ronnie Ray Pruette of Hickory Withe, TN; 8 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1 p.m. until service begins at 2 p.m. on Friday, June 13 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home with interment following.
