Hazel Garvin Yarbrough, 90, of Memphis, went to be with the Lord on February 20, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, Trevis D. Yarbrough; and son, Michael Kelley Yarbrough, she is survived by two daughters, Patsy Simmons (Duane) and Jean Dodds (Jerry) and one son, Glynn Yarbrough (Rae). She also leaves three grandsons, one great granddaughter, two grandsons, and one great great grandson. Also, she leaves many "fur grandchildren" who loved her dearly. She was a longtime member of Park Avenue Church of Christ and genuinely loved her Christian brothers and sisters there. Her sweet spirit and unconditional love will be sorely missed by her family and by those whose lives she touched. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 24 at Forest Hill East Funeral Home on Whitten Road. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. The family requests in lieu of flowers any memorials be made to Park Avenue Church of Christ in Memphis.
