Olive Branch, MS

H.D. Springer, 84, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019.   H.D. served his country honorably in the U. S. Marine Corps.  The widower of Delila Springer, he is survived by a daughter, Lorri Baker, of Olive Branch, MS; a son, Michael Springer (Patricia) of Horn Lake, MS; two sisters, Bonnie Lankford, of Fresno, CA and Gentsy Roberson, of Kingman, AZ; a brother, Roy Springer (Nan) of Norman, OK; eight grandchildren:  Lonnie Moore, Stephanie Kimble, Amy Farrow, Ashley Bratton, Ashley Degnan, Hollie Peel, Dustin Springer, and Amber Baker;  thirteen great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Langford; his parents, Almus and Ida Springer; sister, Lora McComick; and brothers, Willis and George Springer.  Family and friends will gather to share memories on Thursday from 5:00-7:00 pm, with funeral services at 2:00 pm on Friday.  Both will be held at Forest Hill Funeral Home & Memorial Park-Midtown.   Interment will follow at Forest Hill South Cemetery  (901) 775-0310
